Brisbane ignited in all its glory last night for Riverfire 2017!
Steve Photoman Hayes had one of the best seats in the ‘house’, sitting on an empty camera bag in the garden in front of the entire crowd at Southbank looking over the Brisbane River, watching the Jets through to the amazing 20 minute fireworks show.
Having not been to a riverfire in a few years, primarily due to the crowds and bad experiences in the past, this year, being a celebration for Riverfire, it was time to bite the nails, burst the bubble of fear and kick it at Southbank.
Below are some of Steve’s awesome photos from the night, you can also watch a short video of some of the fireworks captured by Steve Photoman Hayes at the 2017 Brisbane Riverfire.
After you watch the audioless video, you can scroll down and see a select few photos captured including one of a close up of the passenger inside of the Army’s MRH-90 helicopter waving to the crowd which was expected to exceed 500,000!
